Michael Anastassiades on creativity and the art of dialogue

Michael shares with Justyna Green his creative journey from the 80s through to present day - the early days when Michael studied both engineering and design and wasn't satisfied with either, and reviewed his next steps towards his future.

Things changed in the early 90s when Michael found his house on London Waterloo's Lower Marsh and started to split his time between teaching art, designing "psychological" objects and being a yoga instructor.

The decades that followed saw him grow to become one of the most loved lighting designers, creating minimalist pieces through his own studio practice as well as collaborating with renowned brands such as FLOS.
