Design Your Life: Ben Evans in conversation with Vince Frost

Ben Evans CBE co-founded London Design Festival with Sir John Sorrell in 2003. Now in its seventeenth year, the Festival has grown from 45 events and exhibitions to approximately 400, with over 2,000 international design businesses taking part, 12 Design Districts and Design Routes, and visits from audiences from 75 countries reaching almost 1 million.

A true Londoner, Ben has dedicated his life to the creative industries. He has been a Governor of the University of the Arts London and since 2017, he has been Chair of the Mayor’s Cultural Leaders Board, a statutory advisory board to the London Mayor. He was awarded an honorary degree from the Royal College of Art, where he graduated in 1989.

Ben talks to Vince Frost about the power of storytelling, the crisis of design education and the potential repercussions of a looming Brexit.
